The short version
- If you are just visiting setstech.co.uk, we do not set any cookies.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- Google sets cookies only if you choose to load the map on our contact page.
- We do not need a cookie banner, because we do not set any cookies that need your consent unless you ask for them.
This policy is issued by Roy & Associates Limited, trading as SETS Tech. It covers cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage), which the law calls “storage and access technologies”.
Cookies on our public pages
None. Our fonts and icons are served from our own server rather than from third-party services, and we do not run analytics or advertising tools.
The map on our contact page
Our contact page can show a Google Map of our office. The map does not load until you click “Show map”. When you click it, your browser connects to Google, and Google may set or read cookies and receive your IP address. Google uses these under its own policies:
By clicking “Show map”, you agree to the map loading for that visit. If you would rather not, use the “Open in Google Maps” link or the address shown underneath the map instead.
Cookies in our admin area
Our staff use a private admin area to manage the website. Signing in sets the cookies below. Members of the public never receive them. They are strictly necessary to keep staff signed in securely, so they do not need consent.
- st_at: Keeps a staff member signed in. Lasts 15 minutes.
- st_rt: Renews the sign-in securely. Lasts 7 days.
- st_csrf: Protects admin forms against cross-site request forgery. Lasts 7 days.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The public website works fully without cookies. Only the Google Map needs them.
Changes to this policy
If we start using any new cookies, we will update this page first. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, we will ask for it before setting them.
